Founded in 2017, H arq grew out of a simple conviction: architecture should serve the lives of the people who use it. Every project begins by listening — understanding who will inhabit the space, how they live, what they value.

It is from this careful listening that houses and interiors with a character of their own emerge, built to endure. We believe the best spaces are the ones that shape themselves around the lives of their inhabitants, effortlessly.

Bruno H Gomes

An architect trained at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto, with experience gained in established practices before founding the studio. The work combines technical rigour with a refined sensitivity to materials — always seeking the balance between form and the way people actually live.

Every project is treated as unique, with the architect directly involved at every stage — from the first concept through to supervision on site.
